Located at American Senior Communities in Hickory Creek at Columbus, this role supports the physical and psychosocial well‑being of our residents.
Work Schedule Full‑time evening and part‑time night shifts available.
Job Overview As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will develop meaningful relationships with residents, using nursing skills to promote their physical and psychosocial wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging environment for residents.
Leadership: Promote teamwork to exceed residents’ needs.
Collaboration: Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Teamwork: Work toward common goal of excellent care for residents.
Interpersonal Communication: Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Requirements
Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
