Location: Georgetown, TX (78626) – Texas nursing jobs Setting: LDRP – Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: August 11, 2025 End Date: November 10, 2025 Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Unit Size: 23 beds (12 labor, 11 postpartum) Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs required Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950-$2000 Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications (required for L&D RN jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or Postpartum RN experience LDRP experience preferred (mother/baby, postpartum, OR circulator, well-baby nursery, NICU, or special care nursery) Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns in a collaborative LDRP environment Assist with procedures including cervical ripening, labor induction, MgSO4 and insulin drips, C-sections, tubal ligations, and cerclage removals Provide compassionate care for high-risk maternal patients and fetal demise cases Operate advanced clinical equipment: Alaris Pumps, Giraffe Warmers, GE Fetal Monitors, Monica wireless monitoring Document patient care in EMR systems (GE Centricity/CPN & Meditech) Maintain optimal patient ratios (1:2 labor, 1:3-4 couplets postpartum) Promote a positive unit culture and uphold high standards of clinical care Apply & Benefits
