Job Description: Diesel Mechanic
Pro 2 Pave, a leading paving company in Pewaukee, WI, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with trucks and equipment, such as engine malfunctions, brake problems, and electrical failures Perform inspections and safety checks on all vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations Record all maintenance and repair work in the company’s database for tracking and reporting purposes Coordinate with other team members to schedule repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working as a Diesel Mechanic Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record About Pro 2 Pave:
