RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, change over, and perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Lubricate, clean, and inspect machines and tooling, including tablet presses, capsule fillers, punches, dies, and dosing discs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and apply basic knowledge of electrical circuits and PLCs.
Follow approved procedures for housekeeping, equipment cleaning, and safe waste handling to ensure cGMP compliance.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with Production and Packaging teams to minimize downtime and meet customer goals.
Assist the Packaging department during periods of downtime as needed.
Accurately document all maintenance activities.
Participate in monthly sanitation audits with QA personnel.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Vitamin, Food, or related Manufacturing industry.
