ED TECH III - Winslow Public Schools
Full‑time, school‑year position, 6.5 hours/day. Competitive wages and excellent benefits. Winslow Elementary School is hiring an ED Tech III to support special‑needs students.
Qualifications
Ed Tech III Certification 023, CHRC required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities & Job Duties
Demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary for the job
Help students master equipment/instructional materials assigned by the teacher
Provide input if requested to the IEP Team or Parent Teacher Conference
Assist in the preparation of instructional materials
Copying, typing, filing, cutting, laminating, bulletin board preparation, etc.
Provide classroom management functions
Assist with playground/recess, time‑out, lunch and bus duties as requested
Assist with supervision of students during emergency / fire drills, assemblies and field trips
Provide escort and assistance to students as necessary
Maintain data collection for Behavior Support Plan
Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information
Work cooperatively and positively with coworkers and supervisors
Perform non‑instructional, non‑evaluative functions
Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the teacher
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising special education teacher, principal, or Director of Special Services
There are opportunities for additional hours for after school tutoring, extended school year employment, and transportation aide during school and extended school year.
