Currently, we provide virtual and in-person mental health services, including comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and therapy, across Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to expand to new markets in 2025. Child and Adolescent Therapist
to join our team. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families. What makes you, you:
Passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleagues Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supportive, collegial clinical environment Appreciate the value of operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness How you’ll make an impact:
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments Invest in patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients Provide availability during Blackbird’s core after-school hours to accommodate school schedules Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate The basics you’ll need:
Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4pm ET) or on weekends Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required Why Blackbird is unique:
