Properly, promptly, and knowledgeably run CPR/code with a DVM. Intubate when needed, calculate, draw up, and administer ER drugs, chart all CPR information, bag/ventilate, perform chest compressions, and attach telemetry equipment to the patient.
Maintain ICU workflow, ensure treatments are completed on time, monitor charts, and adjust treatments to support patient rest and feasible operations.
Ensure emergency and CPR equipment and materials are available, prepared, and ready for all emergencies/CPR for each shift.
For discharge preparation, verify times, complete treatments, prepare medications/diet prescriptions, provide discharge instructions, and ensure IVCs and bandages are removed as appropriate. The discharging person is responsible for returning the kennel/run to a clean state.
