Physical Therapist - Pediatric - $10,000 Sign On Bonus RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, torticollis, and more. You will play an integral role in collaborating with other professionals to help our pediatric patients reach their goals and learn new skills. New grads are welcome to apply; this position offers strong mentorship in all areas of pediatric physical therapy. Our PTs have opportunities to participate in internal and external continuing education and collaborate with colleagues across our 12 centers in the Chicagoland area, with the opportunity to join our Pediatric Bowel & Bladder team and gain specialty skills if interested.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.

Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.

Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.

Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently; must be capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.

Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.

Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, monitor patient needs and maintain accurate records.

Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.

Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.

Fine motor skills for reporting, charting, scheduling, and handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.

Compensation: $71,000-$85,000 annually, based on years of experience. Other incentives include a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
