PRN CT Technician – Flower Mound, TX Texas Oncology is looking for a PRN CT Technologist to join our team at the TXO Flower Mound, Texas location. This position will support the Imaging/Radiation Oncology Department and may be level 1, 2, or Sr based on relevant experience.

Role Overview Under general supervision, the CT Technician is responsible for coordinating and administering all CT radiologic exams, ensuring technical quality, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and safety. The technician supports the Texas Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality.

Provides expertise to physicians regarding the appropriateness of additional or modified studies.

Escorts patients to the treatment room, assists with dressings as necessary, and completes all required paperwork.

Develops and processes radiologic films, logs procedures, and processes routine paperwork.

Provides protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards.

Ensures the safety and physical comfort of patients during care.

Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance, reporting malfunctions or required adjustments.

Arranges preventive maintenance per vendor recommendations and follows safety standards.

Orders, logs, and returns outside films requested from other agencies; completes appropriate documentation.

Arranges release of films to patients and outside agencies.

Maintains loaned‑film paperwork while preserving patient confidentiality.

Qualifications Level 1

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.

Minimum three years experience as a CT Technologist.

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.

Current IV and CPR certifications required.

CT certification preferred.

Level 2 (in addition to Level 1 requirements)

Minimum five years experience as a CT Technologist.

Level Sr (in addition to Level 1 and 2 requirements)

Minimum seven years experience as a CT Technologist.

Physical Demands This job requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, lifting up to 50 pounds, moving patients up to 300 pounds, reaching above shoulder height, and prolonged standing or sitting. Corrected vision and hearing are needed.
