Overview
ATS Inland NW LLC is seeking a
Controls Technician
for ATS Automation, Inc. This role involves working with building automation systems and HVAC controls to commission, startup, and support projects in the Northwest region.
Responsibilities
Competency in the functionality of Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls, including software engineering and commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices.
Work with BACnet protocol fundamentals.
Utilize Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 concepts; Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification is a plus.
Read low voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams.
Operate test instruments and calibration tools; understand written sequences of operation.
Conduct owner training and support installations with Alerton experience a plus.
Travel to construction sites and participate in startup and commissioning of BAS/HVAC controls (3 years of related experience or strong HVAC mechanical background).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3 years' experience in startup/commissioning of Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls, or strong HVAC mechanical experience.
Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work on a construction site, including use of ladders and scaffolding.
Ability to relocate to Montana (Montana: Relocate before starting work is required).
