Quality Engineer
in our Huntsville, AL facility. U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED due to Department of Defense contract requirements. Job Title:
Quality Engineer Job Purpose:
Participate in advanced product quality activities, support product/process changes to meet customer requirements, analyze reports and returned products, and prepare inspection/testing documentation. Responsibilities: Develop and revise reports, procedures, and documents including PFMEA, Quality Control plans, and Contract Review documents. Perform data analysis and trend identification on products to drive root cause and corrective actions. Participate in FRACAS for customer returns. Perform Material Review Board dispositions. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 12 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing, preferably electronics. Experience with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, Six Sigma, PPAP, ISO9001/IATF16949. Strong communication and interpretation skills for technical drawings. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Agile and Oracle databases is a plus.
