AC Corporation, a Crete United Company, is actively hiring an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to join our growing Building Automation and Controls team. Based in Greensboro, NC, this is a field-focused role supporting commercial and industrial HVAC control systems, instrumentation, and VFD start-up. Full-Time | Field-Based | Travel Required Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC instrumentation, end devices, and control panels Loop check and assist with commissioning and system startup alongside controls programmers Install and terminate control wiring and instrumentation according to wiring diagrams and layout drawings Set up and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Interpret electrical schematics and assist in routing conduit and cabling Travel to job sites throughout North Carolina and surrounding regions (1–2 week assignments as needed) Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Tridium Niagara programming (strongly preferred) 3+ years of experience in the HVAC service field Familiarity with Carrier, Tridium, CCN and other BAS/BMS platforms a plus Hands-on electrical installation and troubleshooting experience Strong understanding of building automation systems, HVAC controls, and system integration Comfortable working in commercial and industrial environments with minimal supervision Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as needed What We Offer
