Superintendent
for projects local to the Detroit metro area. Experience in industrial and Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings is required. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure contract compliance Assume responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project Monitor and ensure worker’s and all subcontractors’ safety Conduct effective and inclusive morning huddles with crews to coordinate daily and weekly activities Conduct weekly safety meetings and all progress meetings as required Act as a safety champion on all projects and lead this role by example Work with the Project Manager to develop project schedule, trade staffing, materials, tools, and equipment requirements Preferred Skills and Expertise 3-5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent Pre-engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) experience Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, negotiations, engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety required Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and supervisory skills Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints Seniority level
