As FPGA-SoC Engineer you will learn and contribute to: Develop state of the art electronic devices for Optical communication Design of FPGA devices for processing of optical signals FPGA and ASIC verification and emulation, using industry-leading methodologies and EDA tools Work in multi-site international development team SoC/FPGA Engineers work on the edge of hardware and software. SoCs (System on Chip) are multi-domain systems involving programmable hardware (FPGA) and software processors (ARM). The FPGA engineers use hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog) to implement highly parallelized, application specific hardware functions for the most performance-critical processing. Responsibilities

Working as independent contributor in development and verification of world leading SoCs based on latest technology FPGAs and devices Working as independent contributor in algorithm development, fixed-point modelling and fixed-point performance verification Collaborating with experts of different areas to ensure the most competitive solutions Cooperating with system engineers, HW/SW development, suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues Supporting HW/SW bring-up and debug Qualifications

Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering Knowledge in VHDL/Verilog development and FPGA or ASIC verification Experience in EDA Tool Chain (Simulation, Synthesis, FPGA P&R) Analytical thinking Strong teamwork and communication Initiative in seeking opportunities for innovation Adaptability to changing business environments English (mandatory) Nice to have

Italian Proficiency Academic experience in deep sub-micron FPGA design Experience in Optical Transport Network equipment, knowledge of ITU-T Transport standards and architectures, as well as synchronization techniques Experience in advanced Verification techniques and Hardware lab tools and environment
