Overview
Service Express Technician role at Bachman Auto Group. The Express Technician performs maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, and recommends additional services based on vehicle condition, operation and mileage, while achieving maximum productivity with minimum wasted effort or expense. The Service Express Technician works in tandem with other staff to efficiently and quickly provide basic maintenance and service repairs to the dealership's customers. Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Execute tire installations, balancing, and alignments with precision and adherence to safety standards. Communicate effectively with service advisors to make repair recommendations. Be proficient with automotive systems, including engines, brakes and electrical components (a plus). Be comfortable with and use the programs the company uses, including CDK, Drive Centric, Rapid Recon, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams, and various Manufacturer websites. Rotate and collaborate with teammates to deliver timely maintenance and repairs. Qualifications
Proficient knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, brakes and electrical components (preferred). Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with service staff and customers. Valid driver license and acceptable records check is required. Additional Information
