Overview
Electronics Technician 2 – Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit at M.C. Dean. Join a team of 5,800 professionals engineering, deploying, and maintaining secure power and technology systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Responsibilities
Execute technical tasks in field operations: install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems; conduct site surveys; configure hardware and software; test systems; provide technical support to customers. Follow project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW) and company policies. Read and interpret detailed drawings for constructability. Verify time‑sheet charges and maintain project schedules. Track tools, conduct inspections, and inventory daily. Attend daily ORM meetings to ensure safety compliance. Plan and assemble system raceways, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and ground grounding. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, networks, and IT equipment. Maintain communication with project teams and deliver feedback. Plan and prioritize tasks, embodying M.C. Dean's vision, mission, and values. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
U.S. Citizenship; Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Education
High‑school diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) preferred. Required Progressive Experience
4+ years installing and maintaining electronics across multiple systems and customer programs. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. Valid driver’s license; may require use of company vehicle. Preferred Qualifications
Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv, Bosch). Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program. At least 3 years focused in electronic security systems. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. What We Offer
