Energy Jobline ZR
Industrial MHE Electro‑Hydraulic Service Technician (Pallet Jacks) in Baltimore
Energy Jobline ZR, Baltimore, Maryland, United States, 21276
Job Description: Step into the day of a Material Handling pro
When you start your shift, you’ll grab your tools, scan the work queue, and head into a fast-paced production environment working in and around industrial machinery. Your first stop might be a manual pallet jack flagged as unsafe. You’ll tag it, document the issue in the CMMS, and coordinate with teammates to route it into the shop. Next, you’ll diagnose an electric pallet jack with an intermittent fault—diving into electrical schematics, verifying wiring, breakers, and switches, and checking hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. By mid-shift, you might be installing or repairing electrical apparatus—transformers, receptacles, wiring, or electronic components—then returning to the floor to ensure repaired units are performing safely and reliably.
What you’ll handle
Inspect electric and manual pallet jacks and related material handling equipment for wear, damage, and potential failures using technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; implement effective repairs while adhering to all safety regulations.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical apparatus, including transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, and electronic components on machinery and equipment.
Maintain operations of systems such as pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia, and related utilities.
Repair, replace, and maintain the physical structure of equipment.
Track asset status in a CMMS, tag unsafe units, and coordinate equipment flow into and out of the workshop.
Where you’ll work
Cold-storage production rooms maintained at approximately 32°F (and lower in certain areas); extended periods in refrigerated conditions.
Fast-paced setting around industrial machinery with frequent collaboration across teams.
What you bring
Hands‑on experience servicing electric and manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
Ability to visually inspect machinery for defects and excessive wear and to analyze complex problems methodically.
Comfort installing and repairing electrical and electronic components on equipment.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance; frequently push, pull, kneel, bend, twist, squat, and reach with both arms.
Flexibility to work 1st and/or 2nd shift.
Military experience welcomed.

Full-time hourly: $20.00–$40.00 based on experience
