Gerdau offers G.Future, a program designed to develop future leaders for the company. Participants will be put through an intensive 18-month program that combines on-the-job learning, classroom training, coaching, and ongoing mentorship from various leaders to shape G.Future managers and technical leaders. The experiences include problem solving, leadership in strategic initiatives, mentorship, customer/supplier exposure, cross-location learning across North America, and development of managerial, interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills. Software exposure includes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, SAP, PLEX, and Excel. Responsibilities

Participate in an intensive 18-month program combining on-the-job learning, classroom training, coaching, and ongoing mentorship. Solve large- and small-scale problems, including creating mechanical components/assembly drawings and proposing methods to optimize product output and production prioritization. Lead strategic implementation to support overall business goals. Engage in a Mentorship Program with a seasoned professional to support training, values, and business vision. Visit customers and suppliers to gain end-to-end knowledge of the business. Gain a holistic view by working with various levels of Gerdau North America and travel to multiple locations in the U.S. and Canada. Collaborate with other G.Future participants to tackle organizational challenges and develop leadership and technical skills. Develop managerial, interpersonal, analytical, and technical competencies; work with software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, SAP, PLEX, and Excel. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering; Material Sciences/Metallurgy; or other applicable degree. Recent college graduate within the last two years or in the process of completing degree before program start. Record of high academic achievement (minimum GPA 2.5; preferred GPA 3.0 or higher). Preference for degree-related internship experience and leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular activities. High learning agility and willingness to adapt and develop continuously. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
