Job Summary And Responsibilities The CARDIAC CATH LAB at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting the Heart & Vascular Institute. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower. The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers, AICD's and Electrophysiology procedures TAVR, Mitral Clip and LAAO.
As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at SJHMC, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.
Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order
Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Job Requirements Education and Experience:
Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands‑on scrub including interventional experience.
Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program
Licensure
Current Radiology License CRT
Current Arizona State License (MRTBE)
Current American Heart Association ACLS (preferred) and BLS certifications
