Location:
Henry Ford St. John Hospital, 22101 Moross Rd, Detroit, MI 48236 Shift:
Full-time, 36 hours per week, midnight shift, every other weekend and holiday rotation Benefits:
$15,000 Sign-on Bonus, Full-time Benefit Eligible Responsibilities
Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians for diagnosis Prepare and position patients for imaging; select exposure factors accurately Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations Observe patient during procedures; report abnormal activity Monitor protocols and recommend updates as needed Follow radiation safety procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS Ensure equipment functionality; report malfunctions Maintain a clean and orderly department Position patients and select parameters accurately Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree within 6 months of hire BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross) ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential obtained within 12 months of hire Additional Information
