Position Overview
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist specializing in Pelvic Health to join a partner's team in Fredericksburg, VA. This role is ideal for a clinician with a passion for delivering world-class care and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives by addressing pelvic floor dysfunction, post-partum recovery, and related conditions. The successful candidate will design and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing specialized skills and a patient-centered approach. This is a pivotal role that requires a commitment to continued learning and a collaborative spirit within a vibrant and supportive community. Qualifications
Required: • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. • Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia. • Experience or post-graduate training/certification in pelvic floor physical therapy or women's health. • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes. • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Preferred: • New graduates with a strong interest in specializing in pelvic health are encouraged to apply. • Experience with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education specific to pelvic health. Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence • Design personalized treatment plans that could involve a mix of stretching, strengthening, and modalities specific to pelvic health. • Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve strength and flexibility in the pelvic floor. • Track patient progress, ensuring they're improving and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. • Educate patients on self-care, injury prevention, and how to improve their quality of life with confidence. Collaboration • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including orthopedic doctors, gynecologists, and surgeons, to ensure patients receive the best care possible. • Act as a team player, communicating effectively to ensure coordinated care.
