Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Attending, Director of Ultrasound, and Division Administrator, the Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations. The role requires independent judgment, professionalism, and the application of advanced scanning techniques to support diagnostic assessments in women’s health. Position Details: Full-time (5 days/week). Must be able to travel between multiple practice locations as assigned. Responsibilities
Perform OB/GYN ultrasound studies with a high level of technical skill and clinical understanding. Generate preliminary written impressions for physician review. Maintain equipment cleanliness. Perform high-level disinfection in accordance with protocol and safety standards. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program meeting ARDMS eligibility criteria. Current RDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound, including demonstrated proficiency in high-risk obstetrics. Preferred Qualifications
Two years of college or equivalent. Previous experience working in an academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practice. ARDMS certification and hands-on experience in fetal echocardiography.
