Spurwink Services is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist to fill a full‑time position within our Chelsea Day Treatment Program. The position will offer a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20.
This position also includes a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, $2,500 paid upon 3 months of full‑time employment, $2,500 paid after 6 months of employment.
Duties
Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
Provide in‑service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.
Qualifications Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech‑Language Pathology required.
