Location: Fair Haven Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist, you are a healthcare professional specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with physical limitations or injuries. You will develop personalized treatment plans to help patients restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility. Primary responsibilities include: Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct clinical examinations and relevant diagnostic tests to identify impairments and functional limitations, forming a holistic understanding of each patient’s condition. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based guidelines. Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education to address impairments and promote well-being. Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Techniques: Apply hands-on techniques (e.g., joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, manual stretching) to address musculoskeletal dysfunctions and improve tissue mobility. Prescribe therapeutic exercises and functional activities to enhance strength, flexibility, and motor control. Pain Management and Modalities: Tailor treatment modalities to each patient’s needs and adjust parameters based on response. Functional Training and Rehabilitation: Guide functional mobility, gait training, and activities of daily living (ADL) retraining to improve independence and community participation. Qualifications
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Current license/certification in the state of practice Benefits
