Position: Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Schedule Options:
9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (30 hours/week)
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
Assignment Type: Contract to permanent
Pay Rate: $35/hour (junior license: LSW, LAC) | $38/hour (fully licensed)
Population and Program Overview:
Serves adult clients with mental health and substance use disorders at the Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Clients are typically of moderate to high acuity—either transitioning from inpatient settings or at risk for hospitalization.
Position Overview:
The therapist will manage a designated caseload across PHP, IOP, and OP service lines. Responsibilities include individual, group, and family therapy; treatment planning and coordination; biopsychosocial assessments; and communication with referral sources to ensure integrated and cohesive care. The therapist participates in weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and other required clinical and administrative sessions.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addictions, or a related field.
Active NJ license required (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCADC).
2–3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings preferred.
Proficiency with DSM-5, ASAM criteria, and NJSAM assessments.
Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality laws.
Competence with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience in psychiatric rehabilitation or inpatient psychiatric settings.
No fieldwork, on-call, or overnight requirements.
On-site parking available.
Training/orientation includes two weeks of shadowing and co-facilitating groups.
Two hours of weekly supervision (one group, one individual).
