Overview
As a Dental Assistant with Ikids Pediatric Dentistry, you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles. If you have a heart for children and enjoy working with a fun team of professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to speak with you. Pediatric dental assisting experience is preferred; we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist in pediatric dental procedures and patient care Support a positive, friendly environment for children and families Contribute to high standards of quality care and patient education Participate in training and professional development to grow within the role Qualifications
Education/Credentials: A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent Radiography requirements according to state regulations Job-related Experience
Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired Pediatric experience is preferred Job-related Skills/Competencies
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to establish and maintain positive working relationships Customer service oriented with a pleasant demeanor at all times Effective written and verbal communication with all staff and management Professional image aligned with company values Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and complete duties timely Proficiency with computers and software required; familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office; ability to operate office equipment Working Conditions
Potential travel between assigned offices Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events, and morning huddles
