Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and act as a role model for other associate technologists.
Serve as a clinical resource to unit personnel and ensure current standards of practice for the unit.
Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
Schedule & Compensation Shifts during the week from 7am - 4:30pm. Additional call required.
IR/Cath Lab differential: $4.75/hr (given upon hire).
Qualifications
1 year imaging experience, strongly preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's degree, strongly preferred
Registered Technologist, ARRT R.T. (R) or RCIS
Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support through American Heart Association required
Physical Requirements:
Medium work – exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range $34.40 - $52.06 / hour
