Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology)

We are seeking a Full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work within the outpatient practice of the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC) in Oneonta, NY, under the management of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director in the Division of Cardiology. The NP will collaborate with Cardiologists, NP peers, Registered Nurses, and other care team members. The role involves training in outpatient Cardiology areas such as Cardiology Clinic, Electrophysiology, Arrhythmia, and Stress Testing, suitable for both experienced and new graduates with prior Cardiology outpatient or inpatient experience. Responsibilities:
Work alongside Cardiologists. Manage patients with Hypertension, High Cholesterol, and acute conditions like Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, VHD, Stroke/Transient Ischemic Attack. Provide outpatient Electrophysiology services, manage abnormal electrocardiograms and arrhythmias, device patients. Perform Stress Testing and provide patient education. Receive supervision from on-site Cardiologists, perform history and exams, prescribe medications, refer to specialists as needed. Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program pertinent to the departmental needs. Master’s or doctoral degree and certification. Current license to practice. Compensation & Benefits:
Salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with no calls, nights, or weekends.
