Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to cover at-home therapy services in a North Miami Beach, FL home setting. We are an outpatient therapy at home provider in ALFs seeking passionate therapists to deliver top-notch therapy and results for our geriatric and auto injury clientele. We believe in full transparency with our therapy team, including detailed payment reports for you to understand exactly what you were paid on, and we encourage use and collaboration of your clinical judgement. You are free to make your own schedule, agree or disagree to patient assignment, all with the ease of treating patients in one location-- no driving around from house to house and all the complexities that brings. Implementing selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner Provide skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence Communicate with families, physicians, and other health care team members Keeps timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record Wound Care- evaluates and treats wounds as needed including but not limited to dressing, requesting needed supplies, debriding, measuring and documenting improvement. All remedies are as allowed by state licensure boards and practice acts. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associates in Physical Therapy. Education and/or Experience: Two years (preferred) of clinical experience in respective fields of study Actively Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant Job Details
This is a PRN position, which means you will be part of an on-call pool of therapists who work on a per diem basis. As a PRN therapist, you will have the freedom to choose when you work and accept or decline cases based on your availability. Flexible Schedule: Choose when you work and accept or decline cases based on your availability. Variety of Settings: Work in ALF and residential home settings, gaining experience across different patient populations. Higher Rates: Competitive pay rates for your work. No Long-Term Contracts: Take assignments without being tied to a specific facility for an extended period. Weekend and Holiday Shifts: May be called upon to cover weekend shifts or holidays, along with regular weekday shifts, often with premium pay rates. Skill Maintenance: Keep your clinical skills sharp with exposure to different patient cases and treatment approaches.
