We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our Team!
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pre‑Suit Case Manager to join our Pre‑Suit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing personal injury claims from intake through settlement negotiations, prior to litigation. They will support the attorney by performing a variety of tasks including case management, research, review of documentation, and discovery. This position requires strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of the personal injury process, and the ability to work effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys.
This position is in‑office only. No remote work opportunities available.
Job Duties
Completes client intakes, builds out new client files, and prepares correspondence.
Manages all aspects of cases in pre‑suit for negotiations.
Coordinates with experts, drafts Notices of Intent, and responds to pre‑suit discovery for nursing home, assisted living, and medical malpractice cases.
Completes legal and other online research to support case strategy.
Reviews and summarizes records, reports, and other case‑related documents.
Routinely communicates with clients to ensure they are complying with the treatment plan and that all of their questions are answered.
Communicates with Insurance Adjusters.
Communicates with Doctors' Offices.
Organizes and maintains electronic case files, evidence, and legal documents.
Completes all aspects of the case settlement and disbursal process for attorney approval.
Assists in editing demand letters and prepares demand packages.
Identifies potential bad faith cases and presents them to attorney for evaluation.
Processes case‑related invoices.

Requirements Qualifications
Degree in Paralegal Studies, or Paralegal Certification (e.g., as an FRP) required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a paralegal (preferably in Personal Injury).
Strong understanding of the litigation process, legal terms, and court procedures.
FileVine Case Management experience is preferred, but not required.
