Assist schools in developing appropriate educational programs by conducting psycho-educational evaluations, representing the district in ARD/IEP assessments, and facilitating ARD meetings as needed. Provide consultation to teachers, parents, support staff, and community agencies. Benefits

Master’s degree in Special Education or related field Educational Diagnostician Certification from the Texas Education Agency Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of psycho-educational assessment and IDEA eligibility procedures Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Understanding of IDEA federal and state requirements, including IEP processes and documentation Proficiency in computer-based reporting, data interpretation, and paperwork organization Ability to travel between multiple work locations Working Conditions
Work involves mental, physical, and environmental demands including prolonged sitting, occasional physical activities, repetitive motions, lifting (up to 45 pounds), and working extended or irregular hours. Must work with frequent interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress. Tools used include standard office equipment such as computers and peripherals. Posture includes prolonged sitting with occasional bending, reaching, and lifting. Additional Information
