Job Overview Zone4 is seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical scopes on complex industrial automation installations across North America. This high-impact, remote role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical project management and industrial systems who are eager to travel, lead field teams, and manage projects from kickoff to commissioning. You'll work with cutting‑edge material handling technologies in dynamic environments, ensuring precision, safety, and on‑time delivery for every project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute industrial electrical installation projects from planning through project closeout

Coordinate efforts with clients, general contractors, engineers, and field electricians

Lead field installation crews and subcontractors to ensure high‑performance execution

Develop and manage project schedules, manpower needs, and budget tracking

Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and all Zone4 safety and quality standards

Manage RFIs, change orders, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle

Oversee procurement and ensure materials/equipment arrive on time

Validate system installations for functionality and readiness for commissioning

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing electrical projects in industrial automation or material handling

In‑depth knowledge of electrical installation methods, conduit routing, cable tray systems, and power/control wiring

Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and single‑line diagrams

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Familiarity with MS Project, Procore, or equivalent project tracking tools

Deep knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and safety compliance standards

Willingness to travel up to 75% to project sites across the U.S.

PMP certification or Journeyman/Master Electrician license preferred
