We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a ground-up construction project at a high-profile control center in Norfolk, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for consistent work through the end of the year, with the possibility of ongoing projects to follow. Key Responsibilities
Conduit work: bending and installing rigid conduit & EMT Electrical terminations and voltage knowledge Read and interpret blueprints and schematics Maintain high safety standards at all times Work under the supervision of an experienced Electrical Project Manager Requirements
Journeyman-level experience in industrial electrical work Strong knowledge of conduit work and electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be safety-conscious and self-motivated Pass background check and drug screening Basic Tool Requirements (All Levels)
Tool pouch or bag Set of screwdrivers (various sizes) Side cutters, diagonal cutters, needle-nose pliers Channel locks, adjustable wrenches Measuring tape, torpedo level, utility knife Voltage meter (600V), hammer, flashlight Rain gear Additional Tools for 2nd Year Apprentices and Above
Magnetic protractor, electrician’s level NEC Code Book (2008 or newer) Socket sets (3/8" & 1/2" drive), combination wrenches Nut driver set, wire strippers, Uni-bit, and more A complete tool list will be provided during the hiring process.
