Aircraft Structures Mechanic Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a well-known and fast-growing aircraft maintenance, repair, and Overhaul (MRO) company. Pay Rate Depending on experience Schedule and Hours Must have open availability, 7 days a week, 3 shifts. Aircraft Structures Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
Perform structural repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer specifications. Read, interpret, and work from aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and work instructions. Use a wide range of hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately. Complete all required documentation, including work cards, inspection forms, and other records, in compliance with company policies and FAA regulations. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Collaborate with other technicians, inspectors, and supervisors to ensure timely and quality maintenance of aircraft. Adhere to schedules and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism. Aircraft Structures Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is a plus Ability to obtain SIDA badge (pass background check) 2+ years of commercial heavy jet experience in an MRO environment. Thorough working knowledge of all required documentation and procedures for heavy maintenance, including but not limited to: FARs, ADs, Service Bulletins, Company policy and procedure, Maintenance Manuals, and Technical Data Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. Skilled in the safe and effective use of tools, gauges, and equipment related to structural maintenance. Understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal practices.
