Job Type: Full-time Kelberman’s counseling and psychotherapeutic services are designed to support individuals who have a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of Autism or an Intellectual/ Developmental Disability, as well as their families. The LCSW at Kelberman supports individuals and families in the developmental disability community who also present with social-emotional and/or behavioral needs. The LCSW engages in evidence-based assessment and treatment strategies with a caseload of individuals, groups, and/or families, as well as collaborates with team members on best practices and ongoing care. The LCSW also engage in administrative tasks and supervision of other clinicians per regulatory guidelines and programmatic needs. Opportunities exist to provide behavioral intervention support and training to staff and other people Kelberman supports across multiple programs, in addition to partaking in community trainings and information sessions.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Complies with all regulators and quality assurance, including but not limited to OPWDD, DOH, OMIG, OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, safety and other policies set forth.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications / Experience Active NYS License as LCSW

Minimum 3-5 years experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License, as some travel is required.

This position must comply with OPWDD regulatory standards and training requirements.

This position has regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with individuals receiving services and is required by law to be fingerprinted for a criminal history record check under OPWDD and in coordination with the regulations of the NYS Justice Center.

Salary

75,000 to 80,000 annually
