Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full‑time MHA (mental health associate) to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH).
This position is within Wing 1 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 14 beds.
We understand the unique recovery challenges of people with co‑occurring disorders and treat both conditions at the same time. That’s why people with both a mental health and substance use disorder receive specialized care at Princeton House. Outcomes show that this approach reduces the risk of relapse and improves the chances of long‑term recovery.
Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road, Princeton, NJ).
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
Scheduling Requirements
Required to five evening shifts (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm) including every other weekend and every other holiday.
What We Require for this Role
Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).
Specialization: Social Science preferred.
Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirement
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
Valid driver’s license in employee’s state of residence with a record in good standing required.
Salary Salary Range: $18.11 – $28.86 per hour.
