Interventional Vascular Technologists support advanced therapies at Cleveland Clinic. They assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, perform imaging, and handle post-processing. Work hours:
Days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, plus call. Key responsibilities include: Use sterile techniques to perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures. Educate patients about procedures to ensure understanding. Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after exams. Understand drugs used in IR, including indications and interactions. Record procedural data accurately. Maintain and repair equipment. Attend training and professional sessions to learn new skills. Minimum qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered with ARRT (R.T.(R))) and in good standing. Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist. Basic Life Support certification. Preferred qualifications: One year of radiologic technologist experience. Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or Vascular-Interventional Radiology. Knowledge of radiologic physics and vascular imaging. Understanding of vascular anatomy and pathology.
