Responsibilities
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school setting
Assist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
Design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the child’s needs
Work collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agencies
Provide psychoeducation to school staff
Design and implement therapeutic groups for students
Requirements
In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in at least one of the following ways:
Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional
Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statue 245I.04.02
Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota
Ability to work independently; Valid driver’s license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle
Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of email
Compensation: $25‑28/hr for Part‑Time, $54,000 to $60,000 for Full‑time employment.
