Physical Therapist

Flower Mound, TX (35 min NW of Dallas)
Urgently Hiring. Full time.
We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our Therapy group full time in Flower Mound, TX. Ideally, the incoming Physical Therapist is a Licensed PT with 1-5 years experience, is an excellent team player and clinician who enjoys helping others and is comfortable seeing Ortho and Neurology cases. We prefer the Physical therapist has experience with treating Vestibular, Neuro, and ortho patients (pelvic health is a plus) or a willingness to learn those modalities, we will provide training. We have an amazing team, dedicated to continued advancement and top patient care, where we are always advancing and provide continuing education for professional growth and development with an emphasis on neuro and vestibular training.

Duties
Provides patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
Documentation, including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports. Document in a compliant fashion that is in accordance with company policy and state & federal guidelines
Assure that patients are treated promptly in accordance with their scheduled appointments
Convey to patients the importance of complying with established plans of care, including home exercise programs, and minimizing cancellations and no show of appointments
Consults with referring physicians as needed through documentation as well as verbally
Pursue continuing education in the form of formal classes, reading of periodicals and other literature
Reviews Physician’s referral (prescription) and patient’s condition and medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required
Tests and measures patient strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs
Plans and prepares a written treatment program based on evaluation of patient data
Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in use of assistant and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
Administers treatments, manual therapy, and traction to relieve pain and improve functioning
Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit
Records treatment, response, and progress in the patient's chart into the computer
Instructs patients and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home
Confers with Physicians and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment programs, and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient’s health care
Requirements
Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited school
Current State licensing and all other state‑required documentation in TX
Experience in Vestibular, Neuro, and ortho patients (pelvic health is a plus) or a willingness to learn those modalities
Schedule Full time (M‑F)
Salary $80k - $105k (Depending on Experience)
