Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
for a full-time maternity leave assignment. This school-based position supports a diverse student population in the Pompton Lakes, NJ area. The assignment may be extended beyond the maternity leave period, offering flexibility. You will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges to enhance their educational experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting a range of speech, language, and communication skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and success. Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring alignment with educational goals. Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and progress reports. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. New Jersey SLP licensure. Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
