What does a day-in-the-life look like? By living and promoting the Metalsa values, ensure the design, implementation, and oversight of reliability-based maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and performance. Facilitate the implementation of Best Maintenance Practices and manage centralized information. What does success look like? Lead and coordinate maintenance technicians to ensure proper planning and scheduling of activities (materials, tools, and spare parts) aligned with plant priorities, reliability, safety, and efficiency objectives. Support innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and new line projects to enhance asset reliability and maintenance equipment, ensuring MMS is applied. Coordinate the implementation of maintenance best practices. Ensure proper analysis of recurrent failures using tools such as PPS. Ensure that data generated by the CMMS is accurate and consistent. Create and maintain the master plan for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Report maintenance KPIs (MTBF and work order backlog) to the plant coordinator. Conduct general building repairs: carpentry, drywall, doors, painting, and flooring. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in the facility (lighting, circuits, outlets, etc.). Perform plumbing repairs including leaks, fixture installations, and pipe work. Conduct welding and light fabrication for equipment and facility repairs. Support HVAC filter changes and coordinate with external HVAC contractors as needed. Maintain dock equipment, overhead doors, safety barriers, exterior lighting, etc. Assist with layout changes, facility improvements, and projects led by the Projects team. Coordinate third-party contractors and suppliers for work requiring external support. Ensure all supplier interactions follow Metalsa’s procurement protocols (quotes, approvals, POs, and documentation). What you will bring: Experience

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in control or automation areas. Education:

Associate degree in a related field, or a combination of education and related experience (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics). Technical Skills: Experience in failure analysis. Proficiency with controls software: Allen Bradley, Microsoft Environment, etc. Knowledge of VFDs. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, controls network, and control systems. Knowledge of safety equipment (scanners, light screens, safety sensors). Administrative Skills: Leadership, effective communication, and teamwork skills are required.
