Shipping Packaging Technician at Pro-Active Engineering – Sun Prairie, WI.
Pro-Active Engineering is seeking an experienced Shipping/Packaging Technician to perform hands‑on packaging and shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments in accordance with defined policy standards.
Responsibilities
Accurate record keeping to ensure traceability and precision of material handling operations. Proper packaging and maintenance of materials in compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry regulations (ESD handling, vacuum seal, moisture control, etc.). Inventory cycle count and documentation of results as needed. Maintain a clean, organized and safe Packaging/Shipping area and dispose unnecessary debris and product recycling. Handle and route Non‑Conforming Materials (NCM) and process customer and supplier material return authorizations (RMAs) in coordination with Supply Chain and Quality departments. Prepare and package material shipments with required certification paperwork in accordance with established procedures. Outgoing shipment activities to validate accuracy, compliance and condition of material shipments in accordance with industry and regulatory standards. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading and packing slips with appropriate shipping information and complete paperwork. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, lift and stock material in appropriate areas throughout the materials area. Monitor and request shipping supplies including boxes, bags and bubble wrap. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED). 1+ years of experience in shipping, packaging or related field. Computer literacy and proficiency with basic office software. Results driven, attention to detail and strong teamwork orientation. Organizational skills and physical ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs. Pro-Active Engineering is an equal opportunity employer.
