Your Impact
Responsible for the development of highway and interstate bridge design projects for INDOT (and other DOT clients) in accordance with state and local agency requirements. Direct and/or perform structural engineering calculations from preliminary to final design. Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates (PS&E). Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Department, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work. Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope Attends on-site and off-site client meetings throughout Indiana
Who You Are
BSCE is required, MSCE is a plus Candidate may report in-office or work a hybrid schedule out of La Porte or Indianapolis. Indiana resident highly preferred. 0-3 years of experience in roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients. INDOT experience is a plus Experience in design software, Microstation and OpenRoads designer is a plus Able to prepare or assist in the preparation and maintenance of client reporting such as status reports and other writing or verbal communications to the client Sponsorship not available for this position
