Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee – Maintain and service client pool facilities.
Responsibilities
Assist the Pool Maintenance Specialist in skimming, vacuuming, and testing water chemistry.
Perform deep cleaning by emptying, scrubbing, and brushing walls, floors, and surfaces.
Test pool water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae, or contaminants and record data.
Calculate and add chemical treatments to maintain pH balance and eliminate contaminants.
Inspect pool equipment, water quality, repairs, and supplies.
Maintain daily logs of chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Understanding of pool cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities.
Math skills to calculate chemical additives and ratios.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year of related experience required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time.
Must have adequate sight and hearing to interpret water analysis and equipment readings.
Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring pools and facilities.
