Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in assigned responsibilities. Maintain the record set of Contract Drawings, including revisions from the DSDC, and reflect installed field conditions. Direct the field inspection staff in duty assignments and review Daily Inspection Reports. Attend Contractor’s Coordination Meetings to resolve conflicts, with support from the Construction Manager (CM) and DSDC staff as needed. Ensure that Time and Materials (T&M) records are kept as required. Inform the CM/RE on issues affecting progress and recommend corrective actions; conduct daily briefings with CM field staff. Verify CM Inspection staff perform tasks per DEP criteria, contract documents, change orders, and AECOM policies and permit requirements. Coordinate staging and contractor field operations to meet scheduled completion dates. Identify issues affecting progress and propose solutions. Prepare communications to the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP). Participate in weekly and monthly status meetings; act for RE as required. Assist in preparing reports to management; prepare minutes of Construction Contract Progress Meetings and follow up on critical issues. Monitor PMIS data (in e-builder) for risk, issues, disputes, RFIs, payments, NCRs, and correspondence. Identify items requiring follow-up, including reporting requirements for the DEP and aerial photography as needed. Log and track Subcontractor Approval Requests, including reference checks and responses. Review Contractor’s Partial Payment Requests for accuracy and completeness; monitor T&M sheets for extra work and allowances; maintain the payment book. Track Contractor’s Certifications of Materials, Designs and Tests to meet Contract Specifications. Maintain documentation for Contract Closeout, controlled inspections, substantial completion, time extensions, and final reporting and equipment tracking logs. Assist the Permit Administrator to ensure all permits are in place for ongoing work and renewal timelines are met. Maintain a log of Non-Conformances and status in e-builder; ensure inspector daily reports comply with DEP SOP. Update and maintain potential change order (PCO) log from RFI responses and ongoing field conditions. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course. Experience in water and/or wastewater engineering (water resources). U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of projects. Preferred Qualifications EIT or PE license. BA/BS in Construction Management. OSHA 30-hour Construction Health and Safety Course. Mechanical equipment installation experience. NYCDEP Scaffolding Training (4 Hour). NYCDEP Erosion and Sediment Control Training (4 Hour). NYCDEP BEDC EHS Standards Training (4 Hour). Additional Information
