We’re seeking a skilled and motivated

BAS Service Technician

to join our growing Colorado team.

This role is ideal for an experienced

controls service professional

or

HVAC technician

who loves troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving building automation systems. You’ll work on diverse projects across multiple platforms — from hospitals and schools to office buildings and industrial facilities — while building advanced integration and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair

building automation system issues across Niagara, JCI, Distech, Siemens, KMC, Delta, and other platforms.

Perform

preventive maintenance, system checks, and field upgrades

to ensure peak performance.

Load and adjust control programs , graphics, and parameters to fine-tune operation.

Work directly with clients to

identify issues, communicate solutions, and deliver excellent service.

Collaborate with developers and project managers

on integration and optimization efforts.

Participate in

system commissioning, testing, and calibration

of sensors and field devices.

Accurately document service activities, time, and materials through

BuildOps .

Stay current with

networking, analytics, and open-protocol technologies (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT) .

Qualifications

2+ years of experience

in BAS service, controls troubleshooting, or commercial HVAC systems.

Working knowledge of

Niagara 4, JCI, Distech, Siemens, or similar systems.

Familiarity with

BACnet/IP, Modbus, and control networks .

Ability to interpret

mechanical drawings, control schematics, and sequences of operation.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Independent, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious work ethic.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate:

$40–$55/hr (based on experience)

Company Vehicle:

Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with topper

(for work use)

Laptop, software licenses, and mobile tools provided
