Manage construction projects to assure contractor compliance with contract documents. Supervise office and field staff. Review project activities with client and contractor field supervision to resolve disputes and other project issues. Assist RIDOT with analysis and negotiation of extra work items. Manage Transportation Management Plan and work zone safety. Conduct project inspections and contract administration under the direction of the RIDOT Area Construction Engineer and the Project Manager. Coordinate with adjacent construction projects. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are

BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Rhode Island is required. 10+ years of direct experience in managing complex construction projects, preferably design‑build. Knowledge of RIDOT Standard Specifications and Standard Details. Considerable knowledge of roadway, structure, traffic engineering, construction methods, procedures, plans, specifications and contracts, materials used and performance, and environmental regulations. Effective oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects. Valid Driver’s License. Benefits
