Position Overview We are seeking dedicated Aircraft Mechanics to support inspection, maintenance, and repair of ATG aircraft at Centennial Airfield. The ideal candidate works efficiently with minimal supervision, follows detailed maintenance procedures, and upholds FAA safety and documentation standards. While prior experience is preferred, a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is required. Candidates with experience on Vans RV‑7 airframes, Continental IOX‑370 engines, and Garmin avionics are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of ATG aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures. Conduct scheduled inspections, including 100‑hour and annual inspections (if authorized). Troubleshoot, modify, and service aircraft systems and equipment (airframe, powerplant, and avionics). Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and records. Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized. Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and ground crew to ensure timely aircraft readiness. Maintain, calibrate, and repair departmental tools and ground support equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to pass background checks and meet airport security requirements Preferred: Experience with Vans RV‑series or other experimental/general aviation aircraft Familiarity with Continental IO‑/IOX‑370 engines Knowledge of Garmin avionics and ForeFlight software 3 + years of general aviation maintenance experience Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field Skills & Attributes Demonstrated mechanical proficiency and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication; clear maintenance documentation Strong time‑management, organization, and follow‑through Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Professional, safety‑first mindset with customer‑service orientation Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing Ability to lift/move 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Adequate vision (close, distance, color, and depth perception) to inspect and service aircraft Work Location This position is on‑site at Centennial Airfield (Englewood, CO 80112). Reliable daily commute to the airfield is required.
