Responsibilities

Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electro-mechanical problems with equipment; perform installations and repairs as needed.

Customer Interaction: Directly engage with customers to understand concerns, recommend actions, and ensure satisfaction with service.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and foster goodwill through superior customer service.

Repair Work: Execute repairs efficiently and address situations promptly and professionally.

Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment for contracted customers per policies and proactively address identified repairs.

Inventory Management: Track parts and supplies in the service van to ensure resources are available.

Van Maintenance: Keep the service van maintained and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines at customer sites.

Other duties as assigned to support operations and objectives.

Qualifications

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1-3 years of related experience in maintenance, repair, or installation preferred.

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions The position is classified as heavy work with operation of machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment. Physical tasks include walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision and hearing requirements are noted for safety and performance. Work may occur in diverse environments (manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, outdoor) with exposure to oil, grease, dirt, weather, and noise. Proper safety procedures must be followed.

Travel and Schedule Requirements Daily travel to customer sites is required. Overnight travel may be needed for projects or training. Work hours may vary, including overtime, shift work, on-call, weekends, and holidays.
