Responsibilities:
Perform support assembly work installing mechanical and electrical components.
Follow established procedures in assembly operations.
Incorporate engineering changes and perform upgrade reworks on field return units.
Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
Component board stuffing, both through-hole and surface mount.
Assemble modules and subassemblies using soldering, wiring, connector installation, and bonding.
Integrate PCBA's, modules, subassemblies, components, and housings into the top-level system.
De-soldering and rework of failed components on PCBA's, modules, and subassemblies.
UV curing of epoxies and conformal coatings.
Operate solder reflow machines.
Perform masking and conformal coating of boards.
Conduct die and wire bonding.
Use process ovens for curing and cleaning of parts.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of proven experience in electronics and mechanical assembly and testing.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Quick learner, adaptable to fast-paced settings.
Strong teamwork and process orientation.
Detail-oriented, especially regarding paperwork.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
5+ years of related experience, including high precision timing and test measurements (a plus).
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical ability to lift 25-50 pounds, and perform activities like stooping, reaching, handling, etc.
Must be U.S. citizen or have legal status to access controlled technology.
Desired Qualifications:
J-STD-001 Certification
J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification
IPC-A-610 Inspection Certification
Additional Requirements: Ability to multi-task with attention to detail, good communication skills, and adherence to safety and attendance policies. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
U.S. Export Controls: Must provide proof of citizenship or legal status for access to controlled technology.
